Employment Services for Our Community’s Hardest to Serve Populations

In addition to the Workforce Investment employment and training services provided by Nevada Partners, Clark County has contracted out with Nevada Partners to provide employment and training services to our community’s most vulnerable residents. 

The GATE program is a Clark County program that provides intake and case management services to individuals who are or are at-risk of becoming homeless but are capable of working with the appropriate training and support.  For the last three years, Nevada Partners has served this special population and has achieved great results.

In the last year, Nevada Partners referred 406 GATE participants to Employability and Job Club services.  GATE participants successfully completed Employability classes (75%) and Job Club (42%), respectively. 

For those GATE participants who successfully completed these classes and were referred to employment, 85% obtained employment – the highest rate of employment to date for the GATE program.
